I took the GMAT yesterday and got......680 (unofficial score). Needless to say I am delighted, if somewhat stunned. I never thought I'd score 100 points higher than last time around. My maths improved the most (from 32nd percentile to 56th percentile) and I was in the 95th percentile in my verbal. If I'd had a few more weeks I'm sure I could have improved my maths score even more, but I'm happy with 680. Thanks for all your help and the excellent classes. They really were invaluable and worth every minute.

Meet a Jakarta GMAT Tutor: Stan A.
Stan. A grew up in San Francisco and loved living on the West Coast. When the company his mother worked for offered the family the chance to live abroad in Jakarta for a few years, Stan was initially worried about moving. "I was terrified of going someplace where I didn't know anyone beyond my immediate family," he shares, "and I worried about making friends when I only spoke English." While moving was certainly an adjustment, over time Stan came to love his new home, enjoying his international school and making strong friendships with other children in his neighborhood. When it was time for his family to return to California, Stan promised himself he would find a way to return to Jakarta, and even after the move, he remained in close touch with the lifelong friends he had made.
Stan graduated from the University of California at San Francisco with an undergraduate degree in business and knew he wanted to attend a prestigious graduate business program. "I also knew there was no way I could develop a comprehensive study program on my own, but thankfully I found Manhattan Review, and I was able to work with a private tutor to prepare for the GMAT." Stan took preparing for the GMAT very seriously and worked closely with his tutor, following Manhattan Review's industry-leading syllabus and learning the most effective and efficient test-taking strategies. Stan worked hard during his graduate business program, earning his MBA and a teaching certificate. Upon graduation, he was offered a position with an international company that had an office in Jakarta. Stan was thrilled to have the chance to return to one of his favorite places in the world, and he happily settled into his new role teaching business seminars and professional development workshops to established corporate professionals. While Stan loved supporting those who had already established themselves in leadership positions within the financial sector, he also found himself wanting to make a difference among the next generation of business executives. "I kept thinking how much I owed to my tutor and how important the work we'd done together was, and I wanted to give that to others still early in establishing their career."
